Firstly, I appreciate your move to seek therapy/ counselling for your mental and emotional wellbeing. Therapy is not a destination for us to reach, but it is a process where we explore, understand and work on various aspects which create distress. Therapy is a two way relationship, both you as my client and I will be responsible. As a client in therapy, you have certain rights that are important for you to know; and as a therapist, I have corresponding responsibilities to you. My responsibilities as a therapist- 1. Whatever we talk and you share with me, all that information will be kept confidential. 2. If there are signs of self harm or harm to others, then with your permission and by letting you know, the confidentiality will be broken to a person with whom you feel safe and comfortable. 3. I'll make sure that the 1 hour of the session feels safe and comforting to you to share, vent out, be vulnerable, and take the steps ahead to achieve healthy well-being. Your responsibilities as a client- 1. Turning up for the session at the decided time slot and day/ date. 2. Paying for every session in advance. 3. If due to any reason you want to reschedule the appointment, you have to inform me 24 hours before the session.

I hereby declare that in case I take any drastic actions which may cause any harm to me / my life, Mr. Aniket Deshpande should not be held responsible.
